Copy of Church of Metamorphosis Sotiros
Between the churches of Panagia Gorgoepikoou and Ypapantis, you can find the small church of Metamorphosis tou Sotiros. It was built around 1350, probably as a funerary chapel of a Byzantine monastery and belongs to an the architecture type of Tetraconch inscribed in a square plan church. . The frescoes of the church dated the period 1350-1370 and form part of Palaiologan tradition.
