The 'Red' House (Loggos Mansion)
One of the most beautiful buildings of Thessaloniki is the 'Red' House, as called by the Thessalonians due to its red bricks selected for the facade. Was built in 1926 by architect Gennari and engineer P. Stai on the account of the wealthy industrialist Loggos family. With curvilinear shapes, decorative ceramics and castellated character protrusions is a splendid example of eclectic architecture.
