Government House
The imposing building designed and built in 1981, by the Italian’s architect Vitaliano Poselli Neoclassical and Renaissance style, to house the headquarters of the Turkish district commissioner, the Government House (Konaki) of Thessaloniki. In 1907 the Ottoman Law School will be established at the building. Initially the building was three floors. The fourth floor was added in 1955. Today it's the seat of the Ministry of Macedonia - Thrace and other public services.
