The efforts of Vangelis Gerovassiliou and his partners’ along with the high and consistent quality of Gerovassiliou wines are recognized with European and global distinctions. Ktima Gerovassiliou has been included in the top 100 wineries list for the past six years, Vangelis Gerovassiliou is considered to be among the 6 best wine producers worldwide, with wines acting as recipients of very important distinctions.
Ktima Gerovassiliou is a single private vineyard stretching over 620 acres, surrounded by sea on its three sides at a distance of approximately three kilometers. Primary concern is the meticulous care of the vineyard, therefore all rural tasks –including harvest- are done by hand.
The creation of the Wine Museum itself in combination with the various activities organized (visits, wine-tastings, educational programs, seminars, publications, lectures, theatrical and musical performances) contributes to the diffusion of wine-growing culture.
