The Educational Gymnastic Club Apollon, established in January 1926, is a sports association based in Kalamaria. The Stadium is the home ground of Apollon Kalamaria football team. The facilities include basketball and volleyball fields, a boxing gym and tartan with couloirs for athletic purposes. It was one of the official training venues in Athens Olympics 2004.
